Removal Procedure
Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact the skin.Be sure that the engine and components are cool enough to touch with your bare hand prior to performing any service work.
Raise the hood by activating the switch. Turn off the disconnect switch after the hood has been raised.
Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove clamps (1) and disconnect hoses (2) from turbo charger (3).

Typical example
Remove bolt (4) from tube assembly (5) for the oil feed for turbo charger (3).Note: Plug the port for the oil feed in the turbocharger and plug the tube assembly.
Remove sealing washers (9).
Remove bolts (7) from tube assembly (6).
Disconnect tube assembly (6) from turbo charger (3) and remove gasket (8) (not shown).Note: Plug the drain tube assembly for the turbocharger. Plug the port on the turbocharger.

Remove nuts (12) from turbocharger (3) from exhaust manifold (10).Note: Make sure that the weight of the turbocharger is supported as nuts are loosened.
If necessary, remove studs (11) from exhaust manifold (10).
