Remove step assembly (16).

Attach Tooling (A) and suitable lifting device onto exhaust elbow (17). The weight of exhaust elbow (17) is approximately 95 kg (210 lb).

Remove bolts (18).

Remove exhaust elbow (17).
Repeat Step 1 through Step 14 for the opposite side of the engine.

Disconnect V-band clamps (20).

Remove bracket (22).

Remove bracket (23).

Disconnect V-band clamp (25). Remove bolts (27). Use two people to remove the lower exhaust elbow (26). The weight of the lower exhaust elbow (26) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).

Remove bracket assembly (28).

Disconnect V-band clamp (30). Remove clamp (31). Remove exhaust tube assembly (32).
Repeat Step 16 through Step 24 for the opposite side.Installation Procedure
Install the upper exhaust elbow assembly (17) and the lower exhaust elbow (26) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) onto the bolt threads and bearing surfaces prior to assembly.
Tighten V-band clamp (30) to a torque of 8.5 2 N m (75 18 lb in).
Tighten V-band clamp (25) to a torque of 8.5 2 N m (75 18 lb in).
Tighten V-band clamp (21) to a torque of 8.5 2 N m (75 18 lb in).
Tighten V-band clamps (20) to a torque of 17 2 N m (151 18 lb in).
Tighten V-band clamp (13) to a torque of 8.5 2 N m (75 18 lb in).
Tighten V-band clamp (11) to a torque of 8.5 2 N m (75 18 lb in).
Tighten V-band clamps (2) to a torque of 20 2 N m (15 1.5 lb ft).
Tighten V-band clamps (1) to a torque of 8.5 2 N m (75 18 lb in).
