Remove two screws (6) from connector J1 (4) and connector J2 (5). Disconnect harness (3) from the Power Train ECM.
Remove four bolts (1) that hold the Power Train ECM.
Remove the Power Train ECM.
Position the new Power Train ECM and install four bolts (1) .Note: Make sure that the replacement Power Train ECM is the correct part number.
Connect harness (3) to the Power Train ECM. Install two screws (6) .
Load the software by flash programming the ECM. Reference: For information on loading the software refer to Systems Operation, Troubleshooting, Testing and Adjusting, "Electronic Control Module (Power Train) - Flash Program" for the machine that is being serviced.
