The LARN uses the 802.11b/g protocols and requires exclusive use of the 2.4 GHz radio spectrum.The LARN carries and transmits data between the MAS and Automation Operator Station (5) . The LARN receives signals from the MAS via MAS LARN antennae (9) in the form of video images, machine location, LADAR scans, articulation angle position, ground speed and machine health data.The signal from MAS LARN antenna (9) will roam between LARN antenna (6) as the machine moves in the operations area.The LARN operates on 48 VDC supplied from Power Supply Panel (8) . Data is distributed to the LARN by the network switch located in Automation Operator Station (5) . The network switch distributes all data to and from the machine except for the Area Isolation System (AIS). The AIS only uses the LARN for the transmission of BCP (8) status information to Automation Operator Station (1) .The 48 VDC power supply and data are carried through the LARN using LARN network cable (2) .
