Water Spray System (1) Filter (2) Water spray pump and motor (3) Drain cock for the front spray bar (4) Front spray bar (5) Lines for the front spray bar (6) Drain cock for the rear spray bar (7) Rear spray bar (8) Shutoff valve for the rear spray bar ( CB-335E) (9) Water tankThe water spray system is used in order to keep the following items wet: front drum, rear drum and rear tires (if equipped). The water on the drums and tires (if equipped) will prevent the hot asphalt from sticking to the surface during compaction.The water spray system consists of an electric motor and a pump group (2) in order to provide the water flow. The motor is turned on by a switch that is located on the operator console. The switch contains a continuous mode and an intermittent mode of operation.Water is stored in the water tank (9). The water is pulled through the filter (1) by the water spray pump and the motor (2). The water spray pump and the motor (2) supplies water to the front spray bar (4) and the rear spray bar (7). Water that is in the front spray bar (4) and the rear spray bar (7) is dispersed on the drums and tires (if equipped) by spray nozzles.During continuous spraying, a full tank of water will last for 1 hour and 40 minutes. During intermittent spraying, a relay will cycle the water ON for 15 seconds, and OFF for 15 seconds. A full tank of water will last for approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes.Note: During intermittent spraying, the system will deactivate when the propel lever is put in the Neutral position.The 335E water spray system contains a shut off valve for the rear spray bar (8). Also, the spray bars contain drains (3) and (6) in order to remove the water from the lines.

(9) Water tankThe water tank (9) is located on the rear of the machine. The nozzle of the tank contains a strainer in order to prevent debris from entering the system.Note: Do not put additives in the water tank. The reliability of the water pump will be greatly reduced.

(1) Water filterThe filter (1) for the water spray system is located near the step on the right side of the machine. The spray system contains a wire mesh filter.

(2) Water pump and motorThe water spray pump and motor (2) are located under the access cover that is behind the operator station. The water pump activates when the motor is activated. The water flows from the water tank, through the filter, and through the inlet to the water pump. The pump creates the pressure in order for the water to flow through the outlet line to the spray bars.

(7) Rear spray bar and nozzlesThe front spray bar (4) contains four spray nozzles. The rear spray bar (7) also contains four spray nozzles. Tools are
