Select "Calibrations" in the "Service" menu.

Select "Main Pump Flow Limit" from the "Calibrations" menu.

Select "1 Pump (Pump #1)" from the "Main Pump Flow Limit" menu.
Press the "OK" key to start the calibration. The engine RPM will automatically increase to the equivalence of engine speed dial 7.
Confirm the notes on the monitor display. Set up the test conditions in accordance with the instructions. Press the "OK" key.

(5) Load valveNote: Refer to Illustration 6 and 7 for the control input.
Press and hold the control input for activation of the work tool to the FULL ON position during calibration.Note: Use the arrows to scroll down to view the machine "Engine Speed", "Hydraulic Oil Temperature", "Pump #1 Outlet Pressure", and "Pump #2 Outlet Pressure".
Set the main pump pressure using load valve (5) on the flow meter to 16000 500 kPa (2321 73 psi).
Use the arrows to adjust the flow until the flow reading for the flow limit valve is at 121 L/min (32 US gpm).
Press the OK key.Note: Refer to Illustration 6 and 7 for the control input.
Press and hold the control input for activation of the work tool to the FULL ON position during calibration.Note: Use the arrows to scroll down to view the machine "Engine Speed", "Hydraulic Oil Temperature", "Pump #1 Outlet Pressure", and "Pump #2 Outlet Pressure".
Set the main pump pressure using load valve (5) on the flow meter to 16000 500 kPa (2321 73 psi).
Use the arrows to adjust the flow until the flow reading for the flow limit valve is at 170 L/min (45 US gpm).
Press the OK key.
If calibration was successful and no errors occurred, the display will indicate that the calibration is complete.Test Procedure
Confirm the calibration using the following procedure and specifications.Note: This procedure is typical for the proportional reducing valve for pump flow limit.
Enter the service mode.
Select "Device Test" in the "Service" menu.
Select "Main Pump Flow Limit" from the "Device Test" menu.
Select "Flow Limit Press Test" from the "Main Pump Flow Limit" menu.
Press the OK key to start the test.
Confirm the notes on the monitor display. Set up the test conditions in accordance with the instructions. Press the OK key.
Move the stick to the full STICK IN position. Perform a STICK IN operation and hold.Note: Use the arrows to scroll down to view the machine "Engine Speed", "Hydraulic Oil Temperature", and "Pump Outlet Pressures".Cat Electronic Technician Procedure
The following procedure will allow the user to calibrate the flow limit valves using the Cat Electronic Technician.

Diagnostic connector for Cat Electronic Technician
(1) Service port
Connect the Cat Electronic Technician to the diagnostic connector located behind the operator seat of the cab.
Start Cat Electronic Technician.

Select the ECU for "Implement Control".

Select "Calibrations" from the "Service" menu.

Highlight "PRV - Main Pump Flow Limitation Pressure Calibration" and click on the "Start" button in the lower left corner of the screen.

Select the flow limit valves to calibrate and press the "Begin" button.
Follow the instructions on the
