Winch (Lock) - Press lockout switch (24) on the right console to the lock position. This switch deactivates the winch control lever. A light on the gauge display turns off when this mode is inactive.Note: Deactivate the winch control lever before you exit the seat or before you service the machine. The winch control lever should always be deactivated when the machine is left unattended.
Winch (Unlock) - Press lockout switch (24) on the right console to the unlocked position. This switch activates the winch control lever. The electronic control provides variable speed control for the winch. Slight movement in the REEL IN position or slight movement in the REEL OUT position results in a winch drum speed that is slow and controlled. As the winch control lever is moved further from the center HOLD (neutral) position, the winch drum speed is increased proportionally. When the control is released from the REEL IN position or from the REEL OUT position, the control will return to the HOLD (neutral) position.
HOLD (Neutral) (1) - The wire rope should not move. Use this position when you tow the machine. Use this position when you are holding a load and when the winch is not active.
Freespool (2) - Push the control all the way forward in order to activate the FREESPOOL function. A light illuminates on the monitoring system display. The winch freespool is not deactivated when the lever is released into the NEUTRAL position. The wire rope will unreel as the machine moves away from the load. Move the winch control lever out of NEUTRAL in either direction in order to cancel the winch freespool.Note: The winch freespool is used only to unwind the wire rope off the drum by hand. Use this function in order to hook up the cable to a load.
Do not use drum clutch release for controlled reelout of suspended loads.Sudden release of load may result in injury or death and property damage.Use only reelout to lower loads.
Engaged Winch Drum (3) - This position engages the clutch of the winch drum in operational mode. Release the lever. The lever will return to the NEUTRAL position. Move the control from the Neutral position in order to deactivate the winch.
Reel-Out (4) - Push the lever outward in order to reel out the wire rope. Release the lever. The lever will return to the NEUTRAL position. The wire rope will reel out under power. Move the control from the Neutral position in order to deactivate the winch.
Reel-In (5) - Pull the lever toward the operator seat in order to reel in the wire rope. Release the lever. The lever will return to the NEUTRAL position. The wire rope should move toward the winch under power. Move the control from the Neutral position in order to deactivate the winch.
Slow Speed (6) - Press button (6) in order to operate the winch in full LOW speed.Literature Pouch (27)
