Continue - Proceed to test step 3.Test Step 3. Relief Valve - Test
Start the engine and run the engine at high idle. Depress the transmission modulator pedal and shift the transmission direction and speed control to first speed forward. Move the torque control lever to the MAXIMUM position. You must be on hard pavement.
Release the transmission modulator pedal. The pressure gauge should read 35000 700 kPa (5100 100 psi). Record the pressure. Stop the machine and shut off the engine.
Loosen locknut (3) on relief valve (5). Turn set screw (3) counterclockwise. One turn of set screw (3) will change the pressure approximately 3700 kPa (537 psi).
