Conversion Procedure
The following list of components are required to convert the 3064 or 3066 Machine Engine to use the 1R-0739 Oil Filter Assembly. * One 5I-8055 Bracket Assembly (Oil Filter Base)* Two 4I9404 O-Ring Seals* One 5I-7505 Plug* One 1R-0739 Oil Filter Assembly
Location of components to be removed when installing the new oil filter base and oil filter.1. Remove the oil line (2). (5I-7860 Pipe for 311 and 312 Excavators, 5I-7562 Pipe for 320 Excavators) Remove the 095-1882 Connector (1) from the cylinder block. Plug the hole [from which connector (1) was removed] with a 5I-7505 Plug. Remove the 5I-7504 Elbow (3) from the filter base (5).2. Remove the 5I-7950 Oil Filter (4) from the filter base (5).3. Remove and save the two nuts (7) and the one bolt (8). Remove the 5I-7953 Filter Assembly [filter base (5)] from the cylinder block. Remove and discard the two 4I-9404 O-Ring Seals (6).4. Put two new 4I-9404 O-Ring Seals (6) in place and install the new 5I-8055 Bracket Assembly (Oil Filter Base) with the nuts (7) and the bolt (8).5. Install a new 1R-0739 Oil Filter Assembly on the new filter base.
