Remove bolt (11) and the washer.

Carefully remove boom pivot pin (13) and shims (12) .
Repeat Steps 9 and 10 on the other side of the boom.

Use the hoist to carefully remove boom (1) from the machine. The weight of the boom is 450 kg (990 lb).Installation Procedure

Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to boom (1). Use the hoist to carefully install boom (1) to the machine. The weight of the boom is 450 kg (990 lb).

Carefully install the proper number of shims (12) and boom pivot pin (13) .

Install bolt (11) and the washer.
Repeat Steps 2 and 3 on the other side of the boom.

Use Tooling (A) to support boom (1) .

Install sleeve bearing (9) and two lip seals (10) in boom (1) .

Remove Tooling (B) .

Connect boom cylinder (5) to the boom and install pin (6), lock pin (7), and bolt (8) .
Repeat Steps 6 through 8 on the other side of the boom.

Connect four hydraulic hoses (4) .
