1. Start the engine.2. Raise the hoppers.
To avoid personal injury, attach the safety chains to the hopper.
3. Turn the engine OFF.4. Chock the rear wheels. 5. Raise the front of the machine until the wheel group is off the ground.6. Place a wooden block under the main frame and lower the machine onto the block. 7. Disconnect electrical connection (2).8. Remove the tie-downs that hold wire (1) in place.9. Lay the wire assembly aside. 10. Disconnect two hose assembly (3). Cap or plug immediately.11. Remove bolt (5) and washer.12. Remove clamp plate (4). 13. Disconnect three hose assembly (6). Cap or plug immediately. 14. Disconnect two tube assemblies (7). Cap or plug immediately.15. Remove bolt (8) and washer. 16. Remove bolt (9) and washer. Tube assembly is now loose and will be removed with the bogie.
Do not bend the tube assembly.
17. Remove cotter pin (10).18. Remove nut (11).19. Remove bolt (12) and washer. 20. Use tooling (A) to remove retaining ring (13). Count the number of spacers behind retaining ring for later assembly. 21. Install tooling (B) and a suitable length strap around both wheel groups.22. Position a lift truck under strap and wheel group.23. Attach chains and strap around bogie assembly and lift truck as shown.24. Remove the bogie assembly from the machine. The weight of the bogie assembly is 653 kg (1450 lb). 25. Remove and count the number of spacer behind the bogie assembly. One or more spacers (14) may stay with the bogie assembly upon removal. Check the back side of the bogie assembly to ensure all the spacers are accounted for. 26. If necessary, remove two bushings (15) from the bogie assembly. For installation of the bogie assembly, reverse the removal steps.
