615C (5TF) Wheel TractorsDescription of Change: A new and improved shuttle valve is more robust and reliable than the former valve. The former valve had problems with leaking seals.Adaptable To: The new 8J-6875 Shuttle Valve Assembly replaces the former 2T-2402 Shuttle Valve, 2T-2804 Cap, and 2T-2805 Retainer. The former shuttle valve, cap, and retainer have been canceled. This change is effective with 615C-II (9XG1223) Wheel Tractors and is adaptable to earlier machines, including the 615C (5TF) Wheel Tractors. The 2T-2807 Seal and the 2T-2806 Ball will continue to be serviced. To adapt an earlier machine to the new shuttle valve assembly, a mounting hole will need to be drilled. A 7.5 mm (.30 in) diameter hole with a 27.0 mm (1.06 in) spacing from either of the existing holes is needed in the mounting bracket. The spacing required for the former shuttle valve was 38.1 mm (1.50 in).
