1. Secure crosshead to lift truck forks (or suitable supports). Remove cotter pin (3), locking nut (2) and pin (4).2. Remove friction disc, retainers and spring disc (1).3. Remove crosshead. Weight of crosshead 41 kg (90 lb). Install in the reverse order.End By:a. install grapple headDisassemble & Assemble Crosshead (530B Only)
Start By:a. remove crosshead 1. From the head section, remove cotter pin (17), lock nut (16) and pin (14).2. When pin (14) is removed two retainers (10), two friction disc (9), wear plate (11) and spring disc (13) can be removed.3. Remove piston (3), seal (6), seal (7), bushing (2) and bushing (12) from crosshead assembly.4. From the boon section remove cotter pin (17), lock nut (16) and pin (14).5. When pin (14) is removed two retainers (10), two friction disc (9), wear plate (11) and spring disc (13) can be removed.6. Remove piston (3), bushing (12) and bushing (2) from crosshead assembly (1).
