Prechamber Calibration - This calibration can be activated with Cat ET. This is used to adjust the rate of fuel delivery to the prechamber assembly through the needle valve. The duration of the air/fuel mixture's combustion is measured from the ignition pulse until the flame is detected by the combustion sensor in the specific cylinder. By measuring the duration of combustion, the efficiency of each cylinder can be determined and adjustments can be made in order to increase the productivity of the engine.For users of versions "2007AV1.0" or "2007AV1.1" of Cat ET, newer versions that include prechamber calibration are available. Either of the following versions or newer versions may be used for this calibration.
