4. Remove the sending unit (2) for water temperature from the cylinder head.5. Remove water bypass line (4) for water pump.6. Remove vent line (3) for water pump.7. Remove support brace (5).8. Remove breather tube (1) for the crankcase. 9. Remove the bolts (6) and (7) that fasten cylinder head to cylinder block.10. Fasten a hoist and remove the cylinder head assembly. Weight of cylinder head assembly is 200 lb. (91 kg).Install Cylinder Head Assembly
1. Install a new and dry cylinder head gasket.2. Fasten a hoist and put the cylinder head assembly into position on cylinder block. Install the push rods, and put the rocker shaft assembly in position on cylinder head. 3. Put 9M3710 Anti-Seize Compound on threads of bolts for cylinder head. Install the bolts and washers. Tighten the bolts in the following Step sequence: 1 Tighten numbered bolts in number order to 115 lb.ft. (15,9 mkg).2 Tighten numbered bolts in number order to 175 5 lb.ft. (24,2 0,7 mkg).3 Tighten all numbered bolts in number order (hand torque only) to 175 5 lb.ft. (24,2 0,7 mkg).4 Tighten all lettered bolts in alphabetical order to 22 lb.ft. (3,0 mkg).5 Tighten all lettered bolts in alphabetical order to 32 5 lb.ft. (4,4 0,7 mkg).6 Tighten all lettered bolts in alphabetical order (hand torque only) to 32 5 lb.ft. (4,4 0,7 mkg).4. Make an adjustment to the rocker arms so inlet valve clearance will be .015 in. (0,38 mm) and exhaust valve clearance will be .025 in. (0,64 mm).5. Install the breather tube for crankcase.6. Install water outlet elbow on radiator.7. Install vent line and water bypass line for the water pump.8. Install sending unit for water temperature in cylinder head.9. Install the wiring harness for the glow plugs. Fill the engine with coolant.end by: a) install valve coverb) install exhaust manifold
