All bores must be free of paint. Use 5P-0960 Grease Cartridge in order to coat all bores for the pins, the bushings, the fore boom, upper frame, and the cylinder pin bores.
As required, use the following shims in order to adjust the minimum lateral clearance of 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) to the maximum lateral clearance of 1.6 mm (0.06 inch) for each boom cylinder eye:
1 6 7X-2553 Bolt Torque to 240 20 N m (177 15 lb ft).
2 2 093-0090 Shim As required, use the shims in order to adjust the minimum lateral clearance of 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) to the maximum lateral clearance of 1.6 mm (0.06 inch) for each boom cylinder eye.
Thickness is 1.0 mm (0.04 inch).
3 2 9X-4597 Lip Type Seal Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
4 1 188-3351 Pin Diameter is 99.95 0.04 mm (3.935 0.002 inch).
5 2 7Y-2397 Bushing Bore before assembly is 100.29 0.02 mm (3.948 0.001 inch).
6 1 7Y-3355 Shim As required, use the shims in order to adjust the maximum lateral clearance of 0.8 mm (0.03 inch).
Thickness is 1.6 mm (0.06 inch).
7 1 133-2427 Shim As required, use the shims in order to adjust the minimum lateral clearance of 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) to the maximum lateral clearance of 1.6 mm (0.06 inch) for each boom cylinder eye.
Thickness is 0.5 mm (0.02 inch).
8 1 093-0122 Shim As required, use the shims in order to adjust the minimum lateral clearance of 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) to the maximum lateral clearance of 1.6 mm (0.06 inch) for each boom cylinder eye.
Thickness is 2.0 mm (0.08 inch).
9 2 7X-4803 Lip Type Seal Lubricate the sealing lip lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
10 2 257-2216 Bushing Bore before assembly is 90.31 0.04 mm (3.556 0.002 inch).
11 2 8T-4780 Bolt Torque to 325 40 N m (240 30 lb ft).
12 1 188-3354 Pin As Diameter is 99.95 0.04 mm (3.935 0.002 inch).
13 As required, use the following shims in order to adjust the minimum lateral clearance of 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) to the maximum lateral clearance of 0.8 mm (0.03 inch):
1 133-2427 Shim Thickness is 0.5 mm (0.02 inch).
1 093-0122 Shim Thickness is 2.0 mm (0.08 inch).
14 As required, use the following shims in order to adjust the minimum lateral clearance of 0.5 mm (0.02 inch) to the maximum lateral clearance of 0.8 mm (0.03 inch):
1 093-0090 Shim Thickness is 1.0 mm (0.04 inch).
1 7Y-3355 Shim Thickness is 1.6 mm (0.06 inch).
