Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Position heating and air conditioning unit (16). Install bolts (17). Tighten bolts (17) to a torque of 22 2 N m (16 1 lb ft).

Connect harness assemblies (12), (13), (14), and (15) .

Install cover (11) and bolts (10) .

Install ducts (8) and (9) .
Install bolts (7) .

Connect tube assemblies (5) and install bolt (4). Tighten bolt (4) to a torque of 10 2 N m (89 18 lb in).
Connect hoses (3) .

Position sheet (2). Install bolts (1) .
Open the heater valves and water valves.
Close the front engine access door and the hood.
Charge the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.End By: Install the storage box and covers.
