Battery disconnect switch (3) Battery disconnect switchWhen battery disconnect switch (3) is in the ON position, the switch contacts close to connect batteries (2) to machine ground. 24 V power is supplied to main fuse (1) and then to the machine circuit breaker panel. When battery disconnect switch (3) is in the OFF position, the switch contacts open to disconnect the batteries from machine ground. When battery disconnect switch (3) is in the OFF position, 24 V power is not supplied to any electrical system on the machine.
Never turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position while the engine is running. Electrical system damage could occur.
