The new manifold casting has an added brace section in the space under the mounting pad for the exhaust elbow. This added section gives a reinforcement for the center part of the pad between the bolt holes to prevent possible cracks. Formerly, some conditions caused the mounting pad to break under the exhaust elbow.Adaptable As: Direct replacement. The new 7N3486 Exhaust Manifold can be installed in place of the former 4N8467 Exhaust Manifold, which is canceled.
