Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Use Tooling (E) to install sleeve bearings (10) into the frame. Install sleeve bearings (10) until the face of each sleeve bearing (10) is 1.24 mm (0.049 inch) below the surface of the frame.

Use Tooling (F) to install lip seals (9) . Install lip seals (9) with the spring side of lip seals (9) facing away from the sleeve bearings. Install lip seals (9) until lip seals (9) are even with the outside surface of the frame. Lubricate lip seals (9) with Tooling (H) after installation.

Use Tooling (G) to install sleeve bearings (8) . Install sleeve bearings (8) until sleeve bearings (8) are centered in the frame.

Use Tooling (G) to install sleeve bearings (7) into the bottom of the cushion-hitch. Install sleeve bearings (7) until sleeve bearings (7) are seated in the cushion-hitch. Install rings (6) onto sleeve bearings (7) . Install outer sleeve bearings (5) onto sleeve bearings (7) .

Use Tooling (G) to install sleeve bearings (4) to the bottom of the cushion-hitch. Install sleeve bearings (4) until sleeve bearings (4) are centered in the cushion-hitch.
Install the cushion-hitch. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hitch - Install".

Use Tooling (B) to install upper sleeve bearing (2) to the cushion-hitch. Install upper sleeve bearing (2) until upper sleeve bearing (2) is centered in the cushion-hitch. Repeat the procedure for the other sleeve bearing (3) .

Use Tooling (B) to install lower sleeve bearing (1) to the cushion-hitch. Install lower sleeve bearing (1) until lower sleeve bearing (1) is centered in the cushion-hitch.End By: Connect the tractor and the scraper. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tractor and Scraper - Connect".
