Loosen the hose clamp (1) and remove the hose from the thermostat housing assembly (2) .
Remove the two bolts (3) from the thermostat housing assembly. Remove the thermostat housing assembly.
Remove the gasket and the thermostat from the thermostat housing assembly.
Install a new thermostat and a new gasket. Install the thermostat housing assembly on the engine cylinder head.
Install the hose. Tighten the hose clamp. See Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Standard Torque for Worm Drive Band Hose Clamps" for the proper torque.
Refill the cooling system. See Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacities". Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU6250, "Cooling System Specifications" for coolant information.
Close the engine access door.
