Information:

Drain the fuel from the fuel tank in a suitable container. The capacity of the fuel tank is 300 L (79 US gal).

Disconnect electrical connector (2) .
Remove the two bolts that fasten back up alarm (3) to the fuel tank.
Remove the tie straps that fasten electrical harness (1) to the fuel tank. Move electrical harness (1) and back up alarm (3) out of the way.
Remove the four bolts and plate (4) .

Remove the four bolts and battery cover (5) .

Remove positive battery cable (7) from the battery. Remove three clamps (8) that fasten positive battery cable (7) to fuel tank (6) .

Remove hose assemblies (9) from fuel tank (6) .
Disconnect electrical connector (10) .
Remove the tie straps that fasten electrical harness (11) to the fuel tank. Move electrical harness (11) out of the way.

Remove the two bolts and bracket (12) from both sides of the machine.
Remove the two bolts and bracket (13) from both sides of the machine.
Remove the two bolts and bracket (14) from both sides of the machine.
Attach a hoist to fuel tank (6), as shown. Remove fuel tank (6) from the machine. The weight of the machine is 180 kg (397 lb).Installation Procedure

Use a hoist to position fuel tank (6) in the machine, as shown.
Install bracket (14) and the two bolts on both sides of the machine.
Install bracket (13) and the two bolts on both sides of the machine.
Install bracket (12) and the two bolts on both sides of the machine.

Install the tie straps that fasten electrical harness (11) to the fuel tank.
Connect electrical connector (10) .
Install hose assemblies (9) on fuel tank (6) .

Position positive battery cable (7) on fuel tank (6) and install three clamps (8). Install positive battery cable (7) on the battery.

Install battery cover (5) and the four bolts.

Install plate (4) and the four bolts.
Install the tie straps that fasten electrical harness (1) to the fuel tank.
Position back up alarm (3) on the fuel tank and install the two bolts.
Connect electrical connector (2) .
Fill the fuel tank with clean fuel., End By: Install the radiator, the air cooler, and the hydraulic oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblyKENR3573, "Radiator, Air Cooler, and Hydraulic Oil Cooler- Install".
