Location of the Drain Plug at the Bottom of the Fuel Tank
Drain the fuel from the fuel tank into a suitable container. The capacity of the fuel tank is 659 L (174 US gal). Replace the drain plug in the fuel tank after the fuel is completely out of the tank.

Remove two bolts (1) and remove cover (2). Remove two bolts (3) and remove cover (4) .

Loosen hose clamp (5). Remove bolts (7) and clips and move tube assembly (6) away from the fuel tank.

Attach a suitable lifting device to handhold assembly (9) and remove four bolts (8). Remove handhold assembly (9) .
Attach a suitable lifting device to the handhold assembly (11) and remove six bolts (10). Remove handhold assembly (11) .

Remove four bolts (12) and remove fender assembly (13) .

Assemble the following Tools at each tapped hole (15) : A, B and C.

Fasten a three hook chain or fasten a suitable lifting device to Tool (A). The tank should be lifted up by three points. Adjust the chains so that each chain will carry an even load.

Attach the appropriate lifting device to the ladder (17). Remove twelve bolts (16) and remove ladder (17) from the fuel tank.

Disconnect plug (18) for the fuel level sensor. The plug for the fuel level sensor will be wrapped for protection. Disconnect two tube assemblies (20) for the fuel.
Remove three bolts (19) and the washers.

Remove three bolts (20) for the fuel tank toward the rear of the machine.

Remove three bottom bolts (19) that are holding the fuel tank to the lower bracket.
Slightly, raise the fuel tank in order to take the weight off the lower bracket and move the fuel tank away from the machine.
