Remove bolts (3) and door (2).

Remove bolts (4) and reposition engine oil filter (5) out of the way to access the exhaust elbow.

Disconnect sensor assembly (6).

Loosen clamps (7), (11), (8), and (9).Note: Mark the orientation of clamps prior to removal
Slide elbows (10) and (13) into bellows (12) to gain clearance. Remove bellows (12) along with elbows (10) and (13).Installation Procedure
If reusing the exhaust elbow, and or the bellows, refer to Special Instruction, REHS5014, "Reuse Guideline for the Lines Group - Flexpipe on Tier 4 Engines".
Illustration 6 g06277761Note: Wrap (A) will be included in the new bellows assembly. Wrap (A) will be pre-installed on bellows (12).
Install wrap (A) onto bellows (12).Note: Do not remove wrap (A) until Step 14. Ensure bellows (12) not to be flexed during installation.

Slip joint clamps (11) and (8)
Ball joint clamps (7) and (9)
Dimensions (X) is 40.0 mm (1.57 inch)
Install clamps (11) and (8). Loosely tighten clamps (11) and (8).
Place a mark onto exhaust elbows (10) and (13) at Distance (X) from the end of exhaust elbows (10) and (13) as shown in Illustration 7.
Insert exhaust elbows (10) and (13) into bellows (12) with clamps (7) and (9). Exhaust elbows (10) and (13) should be inserted as far as possible without using force. This action will minimize the overall length of the bellows assembly and will help with installation.

Typical ball joint orientation
Align and install clamp (7) and exhaust elbow (10) to the clean emission module. Loosely tighten clamp (7).
Align and install clamp (9) and exhaust elbow (13) to the turbo charger outlet. Loosely tighten clamp (9).
The slip joints at clamps (11) and (8) should slide smoothly with an engagement of Dimensions (X) as shown in Illustration 7. The engagement will be verified when the marks on exhaust elbows (10) and (13) are no longer visible.
Clamp (9) at ball joints to be assembled in joint according to Illustration 9. Verify that the cup of the ball joint (B) does not touch the radius of the ball (C).
Clamp (9) at the ball joints is to be positioned such that Dimension (Y) and Dimension (Z) are equal. Measure every 90 degrees around clamp (9), if necessary adjust clamp (9).
Repeat Step 9 and Step 10 for clamp (7).
Tighten clamps (7) and (9) to a torque of 35 2 N.m (26 1 lb ft) with a maximum wrench speed of 75 rpm.
Reverify the marks on exhaust elbows (11) and (8) are not visible.
Remove wrap (A).
Tighten clamps (8) and (11) to a torque of 55 8 N.m (41 6 lb ft) with a maximum wrench speed of 75 rpm.

Connect sensor assembly (6). Tighten sensor assembly (6) to a torque of 50 10 N.m (37 7 lb ft).

Position engine oil filter (5) and install bolts (4).

Install door (2) and bolts (3).

Close door (1).
