Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release".
Remove the right platform. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Operator Platform and Fender (Rear) - Remove".
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the attachments have been lowered, oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.

Remove three bolts (1) and the washers that hold guard (2) to hydraulic tank (3). Remove guard (2) .

Disconnect hydraulic fittings (4) from the top of each accumulator (6) .
Support the weight of the accumulators. Remove three bolts (5) and the washers from each accumulator (6). Remove the accumulators. The weight of each accumulator is 23 kg (50 lb).Installation Procedure

Install accumulators (6). The weight of each accumulator is 23 kg (50 lb). Install three bolts (5) and the washers to each accumulator.
Connect hydraulic fittings (4) to the top of each accumulator (6) .

Install guard (2), three bolts (1) and the washers to the hydraulic tank (3) ., End By:
Install the right platform. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Operator Platform and Fender (Rear) - Install".
Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
Charge the accumulator to specifications. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance ManualSEBU7362"980G Series II Wheel Loader" for the correct procedure.
