Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove screws (1) and cup holder (2).

Remove screws (3) and reposition cover panel (4).

Disconnect harness assembly (5), harness assemblies (6), and harness assemblies (7).

Remove locknuts (8) and upper keypad module (9).

Remove locknuts (10) and lower keypad module (11).Installation Procedure
Install lower keypad module (11) and upper keypad module (9) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten locknuts (10) and locknuts (8) to a torque of 1.7 0.25 N m (15 2.21 lb in).
Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of screws (1). Hand tighten screws (1).
