Remove Sea Water Pump (Marine Engine)
1. Disconnect sea water outlet line (4).2. Disconnect sea water inlet line (1).3. Remove four nuts (2) that hold sea water pump and remove sea water pump (3).Install Sea Water Pump (Marine Engine)
1. Install the sea water pump (1) and four bolts that hold it.2. Connect sea water outlet line.3. Connect sea water inlet line.Disassemble Sea Water Pump
start by: a) remove sea water pump 1. Remove six screws (1) and cover assembly (2). 2. Remove plate (3), seal (9), impeller assembly (4), O-ring seal (10), snap ring (5), cap (11) and spring (6) from body assembly.3. Remove four bolts (12) and make a separation of body assembly (7) from housing (8) and remove O-ring seal.4. Remove carbon seal from body assembly.5. Remove cam and plate from body assembly.6. Remove wear plate and seal from body assembly. 7. Remove snap ring (13). Remove shaft and bearings (14) from housing (8).8. Remove seal from housing. 9. Use tooling (A) to remove bearings from shaft.Assemble Sea Water Pump
1. Install the two bearing assemblies on shaft until they are tight against the shoulder of shaft. 2. Use tooling (A) to install seal (1) in housing. Lip of seal must be toward bearings. 3. Install shaft and bearings in housing and install snap ring (6).4. Install O-ring seal (8) between housing (7) and body assembly (14).5. Install wear plate (3) and seal (2) in body assembly.6. Put housing in position on body assembly and install bolts.7. Install carbon seal (9), spring (10), cap (11) and snap ring (12) on shaft.8. Install plate (4) and cam (5) in body assembly. Be sure dowel in body assembly is in alignment with hole in cam.9. Put 4L7464 Silicone Grease on O-ring seal (13) and inside of cam and impeller assembly.10. Install O-ring seal. 11. Use tool (B) to make a compression of impeller assembly. All impeller blades must be bent in same direction.12. Install impeller assembly for correct direction of rotation.13. Install seal, plate, cover assembly and six screws that hold cover assembly.end by: a) install sea water pump
