Remove Expansion Tank (Marine Engine)
1. Drain the coolant from the expansion tank. 2. Remove overflow line (1) from the tank.3. Disconnect vent line (2) from the side of the expansion tank. 4. Remove four bolts (5) and disconnect elbow (4) from side of the expansion tank.5. Disconnect two braces (3) from the tank. 6. Remove the bolts that hold line (7) to the bottom of the tank.7. Remove four bolts (6) that hold the tank to the brackets. 8. Fasten a hoist to expansion tank (8) and remove the tank. The weight of the tank is 207 lb. (97 kg).Install Expansion Tank (Marine Engine)
1. Fasten a hoist to expansion tank (1) and put it in place. 2. Install four bolts (2) that hold the tank in place.3. Connect line (3) to the bottom of the tank. 4. Put the gaskets in position and connect elbows (5) to the tank.5. Connect braces (4) to the expansion tank. 6. Connect vent line (7) to the side of the expansion tank.7. Install overflow line (6) on the tank and tighten the clamp that holds it in place.8. Fill the tank to the correct level with coolant.
