Use a suitable press in order to install bearing (10), spacer (11), and bearing (12) on shaft (9). Note: Bearing (10) will bottom out on shaft (9).

Install spacer (8) and ring (7).

Apply Tooling (B) to seal (6). Install seal (6).

Use Tooling (A) to install retaining ring (5).

Install fan drive (4) into the fan support. Note: Use the two mounting bolts from the fan motor in order to pull the fan drive into the fan support.

Apply Tooling (C) to the threads of bolts (3). Position fan adapter (2) and install bolts (3). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 105 20 N m (77 15 lb ft). If equipped, over locking tabs (1). End By:
Install the fan drive.
