Do not perform any procedure in this Special Instruction until you have read the information and you understand the information.The 3E-0020 Converter Control Gp uses spade terminals for the sensor connectors.The 165-1594 Harness uses a 2-pin Deutsch connector for the sensor connectors.The white wire is for sensor 1 and the black wire is for sensor 2.If the 3E-0020 Converter Control Gp is not available, the 165-1594 Harness may be modified.This Special Instruction explains how to modify the 165-1594 Harness in order to be used as the 3E-0020 Converter Control Gp .Required Tools and Parts

(1) 2-pin Deustch connector
Cut off the 2-pin Deustch connector (1). Cut the wires to a length of approximately 900 mm (35 inch)
Strip the ends of the wires.

(2) 8C-9989 Tube (Heat Shrink) (3) 4K-6494 Solder Terminal
Insert 20 mm (0.8 inch) of heat shrink tubing (2) over the ends of the wires.
Crimp a terminal (3) onto the end of each wire.
Slide the heat-shrink tubing over the crimped terminals. Complete the conversion by using a heat gun to shrink the tubing.
