This Program is provided to the dealerfor informational purposes only. No claims will be accepted. A SIMS entrywill automatically be made to document that the engine emission label andcustomer notification letter was mailed to the owners of the affected product.

Dealers will not need to order partsfor this Program. A replacement Engine Emissions Label for each AffectedGenerator is enclosed with the Owner Notification Letter and mailed directlyto the Owner (sample copy attached, for reference).ACTION REQUIRED
No Dealer action is needed, unless the Dealeris on record as the Owner of the generator. The Owner Notification Letterinforms the Customer that the Emission Label on the valve cover of theengine or the oil cooler may be mislabeled. Each Owner Notification Letterincludes a replacement Engine Emission Label, and requests the customerto apply it to the valve cover or the oil cooler on the engine of the AffectedGenerator.In cases where the Dealer is the generatorowner (Dealer inventory, rental fleet, etc.), the Dealer will receive theOwner Notification Letter, and is expected to install the label. If unithas been sold, and the Dealer receives the Owner Notification Letter, theDealer is expected to inform the Customer and forward the Owner NotificationLetter and label for the Customer to install.For any questions, Dealers may call Jerry Harp309-578-6795.OWNER NOTIFICATION
A copy of the Owner Notification letter that willinclude the emission label is attached. A pre-addressed and postage-paid"return envelope" will be included for the owner to return the Owner NotificationLetter and Emission Label if the owner no longer has the generator.SERVICE CLAIM ALLOWANCES
No Parts, Labor, or other expenses are allowed.Replacement Engine Emission Labels are included with the Owner Notificationletters, and should be installed by the owner at the owner's convenience.This Service Letter is intended to provide a permanent record of AffectedGenerators for which Owner Notification Letters and replacement Labelswere sent, and to inform Dealers.Attach. However, it is possible that the enginemay have been shipped with an incorrect Emission Label.Please locate and removethe emission label from your engine. The Emission label is a separate labelabout 9 inches long; and should not be confused with the Engine InformationLabel which shows engine data, and is 4.5 inches long. Clean and dry thearea. Peel the backing from the new self-stick label and apply the EmissionLabel to the valve cover or oil cooler of the engine where the previouslabel was removed. Remove the backing material from the clear laminatecover and place it over the emission label.__ If you no longer ownthe generator(s)
