PIN-CYLINDER 1756354 - Caterpillar

1. Remove three screws (2) holding cap (1) in the center of the steering wheel. Remove the cap. 2. Loosen nut (3) holding the steering wheel to the shaft. 3. Remove the steering wheel with tooling (A).
Do not damage the threads on the steering shaft during removal of the steering wheel.
4. Remove the tooling. Remove the nut. Remove the steering wheel from the shaft.5. Install the steering wheel on the shaft. Install the nut that holds the wheel in position. Tighten the nut to a torque of 47 3 N m (35 2.5 lb.ft.).6. Fasten cap (1) to the steering wheel with the three screws.
