All Caterpillar Factory Commissioning Engineers are certified and highly trained in order to ensure that the installation of the engines are correct. A factory direct line of communication will reduce the time of the commissioning procedure and reduce the cost to the customer. All necessary tooling that is used by a Certified Factory Commissioning Engineer can be traced to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).Some examples of additional commissioning services that are offered by Caterpillar include the following:
