Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to aftercooler core assembly (6). The weight of aftercooler core assembly (6) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb). Remove aftercooler core assembly (6) and O-ring seal (12) from manifold (11).

Install O-ring seal (13) on manifold (11).

Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to aftercooler core assembly (6). The weight of aftercooler core assembly (6) is approximately 68 kg (150 lb). Position aftercooler core assembly (6) on manifold (11). Install O-ring seal (12) on the aftercooler core assembly.

Install adapters (10) and the O-ring seals to manifold (11).

Install elbows (7) and tube assemblies (8) to aftercooler core assembly (6).
Connect tube assembly (9).
Remove plugs (3) and the O-ring seals from aftercooler core assembly (6).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to air inlet elbows (4).
Position air inlet cover (2) to the engine. The weight of air inlet cover (2) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb). Install bolts (5) in order to attach air inlet cover (2). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 24 N m (18 lb ft). Tighten bolts (5) again to a torque of 47 N m (35). Refer to Illustration 17 for the proper tightening sequence.

Install plugs (3) and the O-ring seals.

Install the turbochargers. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Install".
