If desired, conversion of the former 9P2655 Priority Valve Group to the new 3T2667 Priority Valve Group is possible.
To do this, remove both the 9P2629 Spring and the 6K8139 Pin. Install the 2J7711 Spring, 3J8880 Spring and 3T2666 Spacer, as shown in the illustration. Approximately 6.35 mm (.250") of shims must be used to adjust the pressure to 1175 70 kPa (170 10 psi). To check the pressure, install a pressure gauge in the priority valve at the location shown in the illustration. With the park brake or service brakes engaged, transmission in gear and the governor control lever at the low idle position, start the vehicle and read the pressure.
