PIN 1D2975 - Caterpillar

Remove the paint protection from the wires that go to the actual gear switch housing. Locate the 126-PK wire (3). Cut the 126-PK wire midway between the breakout and the potted actual gear switch connector.

(4) 8T-8729 Connector Pins installed on 126-PK wire
Crimp an 8T-8729 Connector Pin (4) on each end of the cut 126-PK wire.

(5) Two 102-8802 Receptacle Kits
Install one of the cut 126-PK wires (with 8T-8729 Connector Pin crimped on) into location two on each of the 102-8802 Receptacle Kits .

(6) Adapter (7) P2 Pressure Switch
Disconnect the P2 pressure switch from the harness connector. Remove the P2 pressure switch (7) and the adapter (6) .

(8) 9X-0261 Adapter
Install the 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal and the 3J-7354 O-Ring Seal on the 9X-0261 Adapter (8). Install the 9X-0261 Adapter (with O-rings) into the location that the P2 pressure switch (7) and adapter (6) were removed from.

(8) 9X-0261 Adapter (9) 163-8515 Pressure Sensor
Install the 163-8515 Pressure Sensor (9) into the 9X-0261 Adapter (8) .

(10) 212-0386 Buffer (11) 3E-6915 Clip (12) 8T-4196 Bolt
Install the 212-0386 Buffer (10) onto the boss that is located on the top left of the transmission. Secure the buffer with a 3E-6915 Clip (11). Replace the existing bolt with a 10x35 mm 8T-4196 Bolt (12) .

Connect the 212-0386 Buffer (10) to the 163-8515 Pressure Sensor (9) .

Harness connector
Locate the harness connector that was originally connected to the P2 pressure sensor. Remove the wedge that secures the wires in the connector. Carefully remove the wires from the connector. Using the same connector, perform the following steps:
Install the White wire (formerly in location A) in location C.
Install the Brown wire (formerly in location C) in location B.
Install the single wire from the 220-1574 Harness (126-PK) in location A.
Reinstall the wedge to secure the connections.
Mate this completed plug with the 212-0386 Buffer receptacle.
Connect the two 220-1574 Harness connectors to the two DT receptacles assembled in Step 5. Use the 2U-4497 Straps to secure the wiring assembly.
Use the disconnect switch to supply power to the machine. Test the system for correct operation.
