Adherence to the updated diagnostic flow chart is required. Deviations from the correct sequence of the process may cause additional diagnostic time and a result in a claim that will not be paid. The resulting test data that is captured during the use of the procedures is now required to be included with a report for the warranty claim. Refer to the Special Instruction above for the correct procedures.Also, a new "HEUI Hotline" has also been established in order to support questions from the field. A technician from the "HEUI Hotline" may provide an authorization number. The authorization number guarantees that your warranty claim will be paid. Refer to the Truck Engine News above for more information on the "HEUI Hotline".A new "Tech Tips" that is dated 30June 2009 is available.
