Remove the winches and the winch frame. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Winches and Winch Frame - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.
Remove the hook winch motor. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hook Winch Motor - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove bolt (2) and the washers. Remove bracket assembly (1) .

Install Tooling (A). Attach two straps and a suitable lifting device to the hook winch.

Remove bolts (3) and the washers.
Remove the hook winch from the winch frame.
