G3516 (3RC) EnginesRegulator assemblies are available to the thermostatic valve groups on these engines. The thermostatic valve group regulates the water temperature by routing flow either directly to the water pump or through the heat exchanger before the water renters the aftercooler circuit.
The chart identifies the thermostatic valve groups, the respective regulator assemblies, and the operating temperatures for the particular engine applications. Information about the specific aftercooler water temperature for an engine is included in the Fuel Setting And Related Information in the Technical Marketing Information (TMI).
