Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Inspect the condition of the O-ring seals. There is one O-ring seal on the connection of the tube assembly to the elbow assembly. Another O-ring seal is on the engine oil pump. Replace the seals, if necessary.
Install the O-ring seals. Place the engine oil pump in the correct position in the front housing.Note: Lubricate the bore in the front housing with clean engine oil.
Install bolts (4) and the washers that hold the engine oil pump to the front housing.
Install bolts (2) that hold the elbow assembly of engine oil pump (3) to the cylinder block.
Install bolts (1) and the washers that hold the tube assembly to the elbow assembly of the engine oil pump.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
