2. Disconnect hose assemblies (2) from the main control valve. 3. Remove four tube assemblies (3) and (4) from the machine. 4. Remove tube assemblies (5) and (6). Tube assembly (6) has a choke behind it at the main control valve. 5. Remove choke (7) from the main control valve. 6. Disconnect five hose assemblies (8) from the main control valve.7. Tilt the cab to the 90 degree position. 8. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect hose (9) at the rear of the hydraulic tank. 9. Remove two clips (10) and move the wiring harness out of the way. 10. Disconnect hose assembly (11).11. Remove two clips (12).12. Disconnect three hose assemblies (13). 13. Disconnect tube assembly (14).14. Disconnect hose assembly (15). 15. Remove tie wrap (16). Remove clip (17) and reposition the tube. 16. Disconnect two hose assemblies (18). 17. Fasten straps and a hoist to main control valve (20) as shown. Remove three bolts (19) and remove the main control valve from the machine. The weight of the main control valve is approximately 70 kg (154 lb). The following steps are for the installation of the main control valve.18. Check the condition of all O-ring seals used in the hose and tube assemblies that are connected to the main control valve. If any of the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.19. Fasten straps and a hoist to main control valve (20). Put the main control valve in position and install bolts (19) that hold it. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 110 10 N m (80 7 lb ft).20. Start By:a. remove main control valve 1. Separate body assembly (A) and primary lift and tilt control valve (B) from the main control valve. 2. Remove relief valve (1) for the head end of the lift cylinders.3. Remove relief valve (2) for the rod end of the lift cylinders. 4. Remove plug (3), the spring and make-up valve for the rod end of the lift cylinders. 5. Remove plug (4), the spring and the load check valve for the rod end of the tilt cylinder.6. Remove plug (5), the spring and the make-up valve for the rod end of the tilt cylinder.7. Remove plug (6), the spring and the load check valve for the lift circuit. 8. Remove housings (7) from the valve body. 9. Remove housings (8) from the valve body. 10. Put identification on valve spools (9) and (10) and the remove the valve spools from the valve body. Valve spool (9) is the tilt valve spool. Valve spool (10) is the lift valve spool. The disassembly and assembly of both valve spools is the same so only one will be shown. 11.
