Attach the gauge to pressure tap (N) .
Warm the transmission oil to operating temperature.
Run the engine at HIGH IDLE. Fully depress the brake pedal. Disengage the parking brake. Put the torque converter in a stalled condition with the transmission in third speed forward. Note the pressure on the gauge. The pressure should be 410 50 kPa (60 7.5 psi).Note: This pressure pertains to a test that is done on the machine. The 410 50 kPa (60 7.5 psi) is not a bench test specification.
If the pressure that is observed is not 410 50 kPa (60 7.5 psi), perform the following steps:
Shut off the engine.
Remove the torque converter outlet relief valve. Refer to Power Train Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Converter Outlet Relief Valve - Remove" for your machine.

Torque converter outlet relief valve
Add spacers (1) or remove spacers (1) , as needed. Refer to Power Train Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Converter Outlet Relief Valve - Dissassemble" for your machine. Refer to Table 3 for the specifications for the spacers.
Assemble the torque converter relief valve. Refer to Power Train Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Converter Outlet Relief Valve - Assemble" for your machine.
Install the torque converter relief valve. Refer to Power Train Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Converter Outlet Relief Valve - Install" for your machine.
Repeat Steps 3 and 4.
