Install sleeve (1) onto the high voltage cable. Ensure that sleeve (1) fully encircles the cable and wraps over itself.

Start the installation of sleeve (1) approximately 25.4 mm (1 inch) above the grommet and secure sleeve (1) with tape (4) as follows:
Start tape (4) on bare cable and continue to wrap upward. Over lap each layer of tape (4) by half the width of the tape. Extend tape (4) approximately 76.20 mm (3 inch) above the grommet.
Tighten sleeve (1) against the cable. Secure sleeves (1) with tape (4) every 304.80 mm (12 inch).
Stop process before the top of sleeve (1) in order to install electrical wire (2) .

Starting at the top of sleeve (1), unbraid drain wires from sleeve (1) approximately 25 mm (0.98 inch) to 30 mm (1.18inch).
With the drain wires unbraided from sleeve (1), twist the pair of wires together.

Strip 12 mm (0.47 inch) from one end of 5P-5623 Electrical Wire (2) also referred to as a drain wire. Use 136-4877 Wire Splice (5) to attach 5P-5623 Electrical Wire (2) to the twisted pair of wrap drain wires.
Tuck the finish splice into sleeve (1) .

Temporarily connect drain wire (2) to ground and verify continuity between the shield and ground.
Finish tape (4) over the joint.

With sleeves (1) secured to cable and electrical wire (2) installed, cover the entire sleeve length and previously taped sections with tape (4 ). Over lap each layer of tape by half the width of tape.

Replace the previously removed rubber blocks with four blocks (6) and four blocks (7). Reuse the retained hardware from the ""Removal Procedure"" to secure the new blocks. Install the high voltage cables into the new blocks.Note: Additional wraps of tape may be necessary to provide a firm fit into the new blocks.

Attach terminals to the previously installed ground boss with bolts (8) and washers (9) .
Install two cable tie mounting (12) with one bolt (10) and one washer (11).
Secure wires to cable tie mounting (12) with two cable straps (13) .

Secure the surplus wire using cable straps (13) .
