Do not perform any procedure in this Special Instruction until you have read the information and you understand the information.The listed machines may take 30 minutes of roading in colder climates to warm enough to allow the machine to reach 40 km/h (25 mph).Follow the below optimization process to improve the machine roading performance.Note: In cold ambient temperatures of 0° C (32° F) or below, the machine systems may take 30 minutes of constant roading to reach temperature. Until the machine warms up, the machine will not reach 40 km/h (25 mph). Once at temperature, the machine will repeatedly reach 40 km/h (25 mph).Safety Section

Before Adjusting Machine
Download the Product Status Report (PSR).
Take the fuel sample from the tank for analysis. (Water content could be reducing performance)
Record the screen shot from the hydrostatic calibration status screen.
Test the machine at operating temperature after 30 minutes roading to get the default recordings before adjusting/calibrating the machine.
Use a Global Positioning System (GPS) tracker or phone app to record the real life speed. Compare this speed to the displayed speed on CAT ET.Testing and Adjusting Procedure
Data log via ET on each test should record:
Ground speed
Engine speed
Desired engine speed
Throttle position
Drive pressure
Hydraulic oil temp
