Installation Procedure
Verify that all of the components are clean and free of foreign material prior to installation. Inspect all O-ring seals and the components for wear. Replace the O-ring seals and the components, if necessary.
Lubricate all O-ring seals with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Position a suitable lifting sling around gear pump (2), as shown. Secure the lifting sling to a hoist. Position gear pump (2) and gasket (12) (not shown) to the torque converter, as shown. The weight of gear pump (2) is 53 kg (117 lb).

Rotate gear pump (2) in order to position gear pump (2) to the torque converter, as shown. Install nine bolts (11) that hold gear pump (2) to the torque converter.

Position gear pump (4) to gear pump (2), as shown. Install two bolts (10) that hold gear pump (4) to gear pump (2) .

Install three hose assemblies (7), (8), and (9) to gear pump (2) .

Connect two hose assemblies (5) and (6) to gear pump (4) .

Connect two hose assemblies (1) and (3) to gear pump (2) .
Fill the hydraulic tank with hydraulic oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hoist, Torque Converter, and Brake Tank - Change" for the correct procedure.

Remove the truck body retaining cable. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Truck Body Retaining Cable - Remove and Install".
Remove the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chocks (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
