The following new languages are now available for the CB420: Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Romanian, Slovakian, Czech, Polish and Icelandic.

Icelandic    AccuGrade® v2.53 for the CB420 has multiple files for a download for different language support. The appropriate number of the language pack corresponds to the number that differentiates with the downloaded file. Refer to Table 1.Improvements of Flexibility for Track-Type Tractors
Both the right elevation sensor and the blade slope sensor can be connected at the same time without the need for an adapter cable. In order to enable the Track-Type Tractor system to perform a swap between dual elevation and elevation plus blade scope guidance, perform the following procedure:
Set the control mode to "Dual".
Set the operating mode to "Independent Elevation".Perform the following procedure in order to use the elevation select switch on the CB420 control box to perform a swap between dual elevation and elevation plus blade slope guidance:
Set the elevation select switch to the center position in order to select elevation guidance for both the left side and the right side of the blade.Note: The blade slope sensor is not used for guidance.
Set the elevation select switch to the left position in order to select elevation guidance from the left side of the blade.Note: The blade slope sensor guides the right side of the blade.Selectable Mainfall Position Sensor for Motor Grader Systems
Flexibility of the connector for the mainfall sensor to face to the left or face to the right is now available. This selection is based on looking forward from the cab of the machine. This setting is located under "Installation Menu" under "Machine Dimensions".Towed Scraper Support
Towed scraper support has been added to version 2.53 of the CB420 software.Note: Although support is provided in the software for Towed Scrapers, there is not a Cat Attachment Ready Option kit (ARO kit) that is available. Download the Files
The upgrade files for version 2.53 are located in the "Downloads" section of SIS Web. The files are organized in folders in order to help clarify the use of the different file types.Structure of the Folders
Refer to the following information for the structure of the folder:Display - This folder contains the firmware in order to update the sensors through Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET).Sensors - This folder contains the firmware in order to update sensors through Cat ET.Valve Module - This folder contains the firmware in order to update the valve modules through Cat ET.In order to upgrade the display, refer to the references that are listed above for the procedure for a flash programming of the module.
