Traditionally, the suggested S O S sampling intervals have been at every 500 hours for all compartments. Under the following conditions, a sampling interval of 250 hours is recommended for all compartments.Application
Studies have revealed that some high load applications require sampling intervals to be shorter than 500 hours. If high temperatures are present, sampling intervals may need to be shorter than 500 hours. A sampling interval of 250 hours will provide more data between oil changes.
