Removal Procedure
Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".

Remove tube assemblies (1).
Remove bolt (3) and the clip.
Disconnect harness assembly (4).
Remove bolts (5).
Remove the water temperature regulator housing (2).

Remove elbow (6).
Remove the temperature sensor (10).
Remove the bolts (7) and separate housing (8) from manifold (9).

Remove water regulators (11) from housing (9).
Remove tube (12) and the O-ring seals. Installation Procedure
Install the water temperature regulator housing in reverse order.
Tighten water temperature sensor (2) to a torque of 20 3 N m (177 27 lb in).
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant - Change".
