Thread length (H) has been reduced from 20.0 mm (0.79 inch) to 16.0 mm (0.63 inch) and ball stud flange (F) length has been increased from 12.0 mm (0.47 inch) to 16.0 mm (0.63 inch) to prevent interference with the engine hood bracket.

The length of Bolt (J) has been increased and added two parallel flat surfaces on the thread. Tightening torque changed from 2 N m (18 lb in) to 15 N m (133 lb in) to prevent the nut from loosening.
