The new driver is similar to the former 9S6329 Driver, but it can be used to install the 1W3285 Bearing in later fuel pump housing assemblies. The 1W3285 Bearing has a "D" shape bore, in comparison with the tang (ear) in the bore of the 9S4160 Bearing used in earlier fuel pump housing assemblies.
The 6V4818 Driver is the same as the 9S6329 Driver, except for a flat area on the side of the pin to fit in the "D" shape bore of the 1W3285 Bearing. This permits the 6V4818 Driver to be used in place of the 9S6329 Driver in all applications, in addition to its use for the 1W3285 Bearing.
